Write With Community has new, expanded, and intriguing opportunities for writers this summer. Coming up in July and August, From Page to Voice offers presentation skills training for authors and Next Step Writers, a wonderful offering from one of our board members, showcases how to create unique and memorable fiction. In September, Midori Evans will be facilitating two opportunities to improve your grant-writing skills. And we’re doing pop-up writing sessions — learn more below!

WWC is hosting a series of Writing Drop-In events at various locations in the South Coast. Write to prompts or work on your own projects while connecting with fellow writers. Do you love writing but get nervous when asked to read your work? From Page to Voice may be perfect for you! Join us on July 29th at Groundwork Fall River.

When it’s time to read your writing aloud – at an open mic, a book launch, or as part of a reading series – do you feel completely unprepared? Are you, like so many people, not at your best when in front of a live audience? Successful writers are successful readers – and that means having a toolbox of public speaking skills that you can tap into.

This is a fun and interactive experiential learning opportunity. You’ll practice with your voice, your audience engagement, and your stage presence. Your words will be transformed!
